Statement of Requirement

Indexers MUST accurately represent all transaction data they record

Applicability

• Indexers

Purpose

Prevent misleading information being used to make decisions

Audit Procedure

• Verify that the Indexer's User-facing documentation does not contain factual errors
• Verify that Indexed Transactions are presented in the user interface without misleading or inaccurate information
• Verify that transaction data available through any API does not contain inaccurate information

Success Criteria

All information the Indexer makes available is accurate and not outdated.

Failure Criteria

• Any inaccurate data
• Outdated data, taking into account network latency

Key Evidence

• Indexer documentation
• Transactions as presented in the User Interface, or queryable through an API
