Indexers MUST accurately reference the block(s) that included a transaction it records.

Purpose

Ensure the Indexer presents accurate information

Audit Procedure

Verify that Indexed Transactions that were incorporated into the blockchain accurately present the block number or other information that identifies the block in which they are recorded

Success Criteria

The Indexer accurately identifies the block in which any Indexed Transaction was included in the blockchain

Failure Criteria

• Any inaccurate data
• Failure to identify the specific block where a transaction is incorporated

Key Evidence

• Transactions as presented in a User Interface, or queryable through an API
• Reperformance, comparing outcomes with a trusted Block Explorer
