Statement of Requirement

Deployers MUST verify transaction integrity (via cryptographic hash comparison) immediately before broadcast to detect any tampering during transit or storage.

Applicability

Purpose

Ensure that the transaction deployed is the transaction intended

Audit Procedure

Verify that the Deployer performs an integrity check on the transaction at the point of delivery

Success Criteria

Transactions are verified as part of the deployment process, and cannot be changed after that point.

Failure Criteria

• The Deployer makes changes after the transaction verification, e.g. to Gas/fees
• There is no verification of transaction integrity
• The verification procedure is not sufficiently robust
